Our Story - spreading kindness one candle at a time.

Our sense of smell is made of intricate neural pathways to the brain. What we smell can affect our behaviours, emotions, memories, and thoughts. This is one of the many reasons we take great care in sourcing scents that we, and those close to us, have found to evoke a comforting presence.

Our soy candles can make a valuable additions to your home, vacation, or anywhere you may be. Depending on your preferred scent, you can influence your own mood and emotions, or even change the feel of an entire room! For this reason, gifting candles to friends was an indescribable feeling in itself as a hobby - however we wanted to do more..

Kindful Candle Co. acknowledges that we live and work in Mi'kma'ki, the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Mi'kmaq People.

Kindness and community are the root of Kindful Candle Company.  Members in our community experience unkindness, injustices, violence, hurt, and exploitation. We need to do better in addressing systemic barriers and issues - taking the time to listen, reflect, learn/unlearn, and act. Let's work together towards a more equitable and kind nation.

There are local Nova Scotia organizations and charities that advocate, provide resources, educate, and support those around them. Every season, we will be donating 15% of all our purchases to a local Nova Scotia organization/charity who advocates and spreads kindness within our community.
